Scope of services
Zip-Line-Transportation provides commercial hot shot trucking, freight transportation, and community ride services. This includes short haul and long haul cargo pickup and delivery across industrial sectors, as well as dependable local rides and monthly contract services across the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia Metropolitan area for store runs, doctor appointments, work commutes, and essential community travel.

Booking and rate confirmations
All freight quotes and rate agreements are based on the specific load details provided at the time of booking, including pickup location, delivery destination, freight dimensions, weight, and timing windows. If actual cargo specifications or site conditions differ from what was submitted, rates and equipment assignments may be adjusted accordingly.

Shipper responsibilities and cargo readiness
The shipper or customer is responsible for providing accurate descriptions, weights, and dimensions for all freight. Cargo must be properly packaged, secured, and ready for loading upon driver arrival. Any hazardous materials, sensitive equipment, or special handling requirements must be disclosed prior to booking confirmation.

Dispatch and transit schedules
Dispatch operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Zip-Line-Transportation commits to reliable, prompt pickup and delivery. However, transit windows may be affected by severe weather, roadway conditions, traffic delays, or mandatory federal and state commercial driver safety regulations.

Loading, unloading, and site access
Customers must provide safe and clear access for vehicles and trailers at both pickup and delivery locations. Necessary loading or unloading equipment and site personnel must be made available. Excessive delays or waiting times beyond the standard loading window may be subject to detention charges.

Carrier liability and claims
Zip-Line-Transportation maintains commercial carrier liability and cargo insurance coverage. Any notice of cargo discrepancy, shortage, or damage must be recorded on the Proof of Delivery (POD) document at the time of delivery and reported in writing to Zip-Line-Transportation within the required reporting window.

Payment and invoicing
Payment for freight hauling services is due according to the agreed terms outlined on the invoice or rate confirmation. Prompt payment ensures continuous dispatch availability and dedicated equipment scheduling for future runs.

Cancellations and dry runs
If a scheduled load must be modified or cancelled, notify dispatch immediately. Cancellations made after a truck has been dispatched or after arrival at the pickup site may be subject to a standard truck ordered not used (TONU) fee.
